Black Midi Dress

I may not run a company (or work at or for a company for that matter), AND I may be in old sweats on a daily basis as I run after my kids, BUT nothing makes me feel more like a boss than a classic black pencil dress and black pointed toe high heels! Then after a few hours of walking in those said heels, I no longer feel like (or am walking like) a boss and am cursing myself for not bringing a pair of flats to change into! Regardless, this dress, in particular, is comfortable and versatile. I pair it with heels for my "boss days" and sneakers for my day-to-day!

This pencil dress is the most versatile item in my closet. From casual to dressy, to maternity wear, to office attire, this dress hits all the marks. Pair it with sneakers and a denim jacket for a casual look or pumps for a day at the office or semi-formal event! The stretch in this dress makes it very comfortable.

However, it is form fitting so I would suggest wearing shapewear garments underneath to ensure a smooth look. If wearing this when pregnant I use this shapewear.

The best part about this dress is how flexible it is in size. I wear this when I am at my average weight and nine months pregnant! Since I knew I would be wearing this as a maternity option, I did order one size up. The length hits right below my knees; I am 5’8” for reference. This dress comes in a wide variety of colors and a cap sleeve option. I love the comfort and look of the dress so much I purchased it in another color as well! I ordered this dress in a medium in the colors black and blue.
