Blue & White Striped Lapel Dress

I bought this dress for a nice winery I knew we would be visiting when we took a quick trip to Napa. For some reason, the blue and white stripes paired with strappy heels and a tan floppy hat screamed "fancy wine tasting" to me haha!

I usually try only to suggest items that have at least a three-star rating, but after purchasing this dress and receiving many compliments on it, I wanted to share it with you guys! The low rating is due to it having only one review, and even that reviewer said it looks as pictured.

According to that review, this dress does not fit well if you have a C cup or higher. There is a little button that is hidden in the middle of the lapel to keep it together. I could see this button paired with the fact that this dress has no stretch, fitting uncomfortably on women who have a larger cup size.

It does run large in the waist so I would suggest ordering one size down. Since they do not carry an xs, I had mine taken in a little bit, and now it has a perfect custom fit! I get some pieces taken in now and then when I find an article of clothing I like that is ill-fitting. It doesn't take long and is not expensive (depending on the type of clothing), but it all just depends on if it's worth the extra step to you or not. The dress is made of thicker material and is not sheer. This dress does come in one other color and one different pattern. I ordered a small in the color "Clear Blue."
